ANZ Hot Shots League The ANZ Hot Shots League runs over six weeks each term on a Saturday morning from 11am-12.30pm. All games are played at the Chelsea Heights tennis club, there are two levels orange ball and green ball level. Orange ball level is played on a 3/4 length court from the ages of 5-8 years and the green ball level is played on a full court size from 9-12 years. This is a great competition for those kids wanting to start competitive play at a beginner-intermediate level. The cost is $60 non members and $30 for members.
Junior group classes and squad lessons Junior squad classes and are for kids up to 18 years and are aimed at kids playing competitions and tournament play, each session runs for 75 minutes. The lesson involves fitness activities, point play and drills.
Group sessions are 45 minutes and are aimed at kids of all ages and abilities. The cost for the 9 week term is $126, a racquet can also be provided. Sessions run Monday - Friday from 4.15 pm onwards.
Adult classes Adult group classes during term 1 will run on a weekday afternoon from 2.30pm and on an Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening from 6.15pm. The cost is $14 per session.
Cardio tennis Cardio tennis sessions are a great way to get fit and have fun playing tennis at the same time. Cardio sessions involve drills and point play at a faster tempo to increase your heart rate and help you burn calories at the same time. Sessions for term 1 will run on a Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6.15pm. The cost is $14 per 45 minute session and a racquet can be provided. Each new participant also receives a free Cardio tennis t-shirt.
ANZ Hot Shots - The program which is run by trained coaches is scheduled on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday afternoon starting from 4.15pm. Saturday classes are also available from 12.30pm.
The program is aimed at kids from 4-12 years with classes graded to similar age and level. The cost for term 2 2019 classes is $126 (9 week term) and a free racquet included for kids aged 4-7 years. Racquets provided for other age levels.
Each participant also receives a free hot shots t-shirt. The hot shots program also uses modified racquets and balls for younger age groups making it easier for kids to learn.
